Position Overview

As the receptionist at our State Farm agency, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. You will manage incoming calls, greet clients, schedule appointments, and assist with day-to-day office operations. Your friendly and professional demeanor will help create a welcoming environment and ensure the smooth functioning of our agency.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner
Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly
Schedule appointments and manage the agency calendar
Handle basic client inquiries and route complex requests to appropriate team members
Maintain organized reception area and office supplies
Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Assist with data entry and light administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with computers and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
